Hiroshima and Nagasaki protested to the United States: what happened

195views

Recently it became known that the United States was conducting a “subcritical experiment”.

This is what the tests were called as part of monitoring the condition of nuclear warheads.

Representatives of two Japanese cities – Hiroshima and Nagasaki – responded to this event.

The administrations of these large settlements in the Land of the Rising Sun protested to the American side.

The corresponding document was sent to US state leader Joe Biden, as well as to the head of the American diplomatic mission in Japan, Rahm Emanuel.

Representatives from Hiroshima and Nagasaki stressed that the test carried out by the Americans goes against the wishes of a considerable number of people, including supporters of the renunciation of nuclear weapons, as well as those who survived the tragedies of August 6 and 9, 1945.

This test is unacceptable under any circumstances, – MIA provides a translated quote from a statement by the administrations of two Japanese cities.

At the same time, US representatives note: the “experiment” carried out did not violate any prohibitions.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki

These two Japanese cities were bombed with atomic bombs in the summer of 1945.

More than 400 thousand people became victims of the incident (including those who subsequently died due to radiation).

According to some experts, the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki did not make sense from a military point of view, but represented a political move by the United States.

Previously, China refused to continue negotiations with the US on nuclear weapons.
