29views

The Israel Defense Forces announced the arrival of the first group of hostages released after being held in the Gaza Strip.

The exchange became possible after the conclusion of an agreement between the IDF and Hamas on a temporary truce.

The second group of hostages released by the Palestinian Hamas movement has arrived in Israel.

Special units of the Israel Defense Forces and forces of the General Security Service (counterintelligence – Ed.) are currently with the freed hostages. The released hostages underwent a primary medical examination on Israeli territory, the IDF quotes as saying.

The released hostages will be escorted to the hospital by the military.

17 people were released, of which 4 were Thais and the rest were Israelis.

Let us remind you that the ceasefire agreement between the IDF and Hamas will be valid for four days.

Israel will be able to return 50 hostages and in return will have to release 150 Palestinian prisoners.
