The head of the Hungarian government, Viktor Orban, announced the end of Western hegemony and the formation of a new world order.

The Hungarian Prime Minister made this statement on March 5 at a meeting with the Hungarian ambassadors.

Orban’s statement is quoted by the Hungarian news agency MTI, as reported.

What Orban said about the end of Western hegemony

The Hungarian Prime Minister said that Western hegemony has ended, noting that this is no longer disputed by anyone.

A new world order is being formed, the situation must be constantly assessed and analyzed, – added the head of the Hungarian government.

According to him, Hungary is interested in membership in the European Union and the North Atlantic Alliance, but division into blocs is not in its interests.

Therefore, Orban noted, Hungary intends to strengthen relations with other countries that defend sovereignty.

The day before, the Hungarian Prime Minister announced his intention to increase cooperation with Russia in areas that were not affected by sanctions.

According to Orban, after the end of the Ukrainian conflict, economic life will continue, and the Russian market is important for Hungary.

In addition, Hungary intends to develop relations with Serbia, Austria and Slovakia within the framework of a new association that will exist in parallel with the Visegrad Four.
