According to the latter, the Hungarian veto means that EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell was forced to publish a statement solely on his own behalf.

He did this “taking note” of the decision of the International Criminal Court, writes Bloomberg.

And he clarifies: on Monday, March 20, the heads of the EU justice ministries published a statement in support of the ICC decision, which was not signed by Budapest.

According to the article, Hungary will probably clarify its position on the issue at the next summit of EU leaders in Brussels.
