At the age of 115, the oldest man on Earth, a resident of Venezuela, Juan Vicente Perez Mora, died.

He was recognized as the world’s oldest man by the Guinness Book of Records.

The death of the record holder was announced by Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, MIA Rossiya Segodnya.

Juan Vicente Perez Mora was transported into eternity at the age of 114 years. This native of the state of Tachira from the city of El Cobre gave Venezuela the Guinness record as the oldest man in the world, – said the head of state.

He expressed condolences to the relatives of the deceased and all residents of the above-mentioned city.

According to El Nacional newspaper, Perez Mora would have turned 115 years old at the end of May.

And he entered the Guinness Book of Records as the oldest man on the planet on February 4, 2022, at the age of 112 years and 253 days.

According to the publication, Perez Mora was the ninth child in his family (ten in total). And the Venezuelan himself was a father of many children – he had 11 children.

El Nacional writes that Juan Vicente Pérez Mora died at the age of 114 years and 339 days as a result of respiratory complications.

The man cited constant work, proper rest, early sleep and consumption of brandy (a glass a day) as the reason for his longevity.

Earlier it became known that the founder of one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges was for 25 years.
