0views

IAEA experts did not find any explosives or mines on the territory of the Zaporozhye NPP.

This message was conveyed by the agency’s general director, Rafael Grossi.

More information can be found on the official organization.

The IAEA notes that last week additional inspections and tours were carried out on the territory of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

As a result of the inspection, no military equipment, explosives or mines were found.

IAEA employees have not yet been able to get onto the roof of the nuclear power plant, but they continue to seek the opportunity to inspect the uppermost tier of the building.

Inspections were carried out on July 17 and 18, 2023.

They were carried out partly because of a statement by Vladimir Zelensky, who referred to intelligence data.

The President of Ukraine said that Russia is preparing to carry out a terrorist attack at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
