Recently it became known that the Israeli military had completely surrounded the city of Gaza and reached the sea.
Thus, the IDF (Israeli Army) fighters practically divided the enclave into two parts – northern and southern.
The general public was notified of this by the press secretary of the Israel Defense Forces, Brigadier General Daniel Hagari.

According to him, the specified settlement is also surrounded from the south, accordingly, now “there is the north of the Gaza Strip and the south.”
We are still working on the corridor through which residents of the north of the enclave and Gaza can move to the south,” added Hagari.
Earlier, the IDF said that Israeli troops advanced deep into the enclave from the north and took up positions along the coast.
