Impeachment of the governor of Roraima remains without a date at the TSE | Blogs

29views

The trial that could result in the impeachment of the governor of Roraima, Antônio Denarium (PP), has been on hold for a month and with no new date set for it to be resumed.

The process was suspended on August 20, after the oral arguments of the parties began. Since then, it has not established a new schedule for the case to return to the agenda.

A CNN found that the trial should wait until after the municipal elections

Denarium was revoked by the Regional Electoral Court of Roraima (TRE-RR) for abuse of economic and political power during the 2022 elections.

The Public Electoral Ministry also expressed its support for the revocation. However, the process remains unresolved in the TSE. The climate of uncertainty keeps the political scenario in the state open.
