In Britain, drivers were advised to use eggs to save fuel

71views

Against the backdrop of a constant rise in fuel prices in Britain, a life hack was invented that is designed to help drivers save fuel.

The trick is half-joking, but, according to the authors, the idea is quite viable.

The average price of gasoline in Britain is 162 pence (about $1.82) per liter as of October 16. For the same amount of diesel fuel, the British pay 180 pence (about $2.02).

To reduce fuel consumption, the British were advised to place an egg between the floor and the trigger.

The essence of the method is that this way drivers will have to drive more carefully and will be forced to give up sudden acceleration and jerking, the publication writes.

In addition, the British were urged to get rid of “all sorts of rubbish” in the form of roof racks and bike racks. The authors noted that this will reduce fuel consumption by 25%.

Britons were also advised to check their tire pressure when refueling.
