Almost two dozen people were washed out to sea in Fujian province in eastern China.
A group of tourists from different regions of China were walking along the beach when they were hit by a huge wave. The flow of water washed people into the sea.
Rescuers managed to save only five people.
A dozen people drowned and their bodies were pulled out of the water. Another person is currently listed as missing.
