In China, lightning killed six people and seriously injured ten more citizens.
The incident took place in the city of Changzhou, located in the southwestern province of Jiangsu.
MIA Rossiya Segodnya news agency reported on the tragedy, citing a statement from the administration of the Changzhou Economic Development Zone.
According to published data, killer lightning struck last Sunday, August 11.
In particular, the thunderstorm front covered the city of Hengshanqiao, located in the above zone.
Lightning struck a gazebo located in Fangmaoshan Park and it collapsed.
Citizens who were sheltering there from bad weather were trapped under the rubble.
It is noted that by eleven in the evening (by six in the evening Belarusian time) search and rescue operations were completed.
All 16 injured citizens were taken to the hospital, six of them were seriously injured.
The administration added that by two o’clock on Monday (by 21:00 Sunday Minsk time) 6 victims had died.
Doctors assess the condition of the remaining ten people as stable.
