In Germany, harbingers of disaster were found on the shallowed Elbe

0views

Focus reports that “hunger stones” have appeared on the surface of the Elbe River in Germany, which in the last century were seen as harbingers of a bad harvest.

It is reported that the tide is continuing and centuries-old stones can already be seen on the shore.

The article notes that the shallowing of the river negatively affects the cross-country ability of surface transport.

According to the author of the publication, the river level is currently greatly affected by drought and heat – it has reached a distance of 50 cm.

“Hunger Stones” are river stones that were created in different centuries on the territory of modern Germany. If they appear from the water, this may mean the beginning of a drought.

In 2022, these stones also appeared from the water – one of these “harbingers of disaster” has the inscription “cry when you see me.”

It is currently unknown whether Germany is experiencing famine due to drought – at least there have been no such reports.

Let’s hope that the drought does not lead to real problems in the country.
