In Germany, prices have begun for a gas pipeline to connect the future LNG terminal in Wilhelmshaven with the gas storage facility in Etzel.

The press service of the German Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Protection reported this on August 4 on Twitter.

How is construction going?

According to the German Ministry of Economic Affairs, construction of the LNG terminal in Wilhelmshaven in Lower Saxony is moving forward.

The department also reported that today they began to build a gas pipeline to this terminal from the gas storage facility in Etzel.

Work is going according to plan, – said in a statement from the department’s press service.

It is noted that the commissioning of the LNG terminal is scheduled for the end of the year.
