In Greece, anti-vaxxers paid for fake vaccinations, and doctors gave them real ones

A coronavirus vaccination scandal has erupted in Greece.

The Greek TV channel Mega TV reported that in hundreds of hospitals across the country, doctors issued vaccination certificates without being vaccinated.

Sometimes saline solution was administered instead of a vaccine.

It is known that people paid doctors 400 euros in exchange for injecting them with some harmless solution instead of a vaccine.

However, not all doctors wanted to risk their jobs and still administered Pfizer to patients. They still took money for the “fake” vaccine.

According to Greek journalists, such certificate holders are unlikely to sue doctors for vaccination without consent, because in this case they will also have to answer before the law for a bribe.

It is worth noting that Greece has strict anti-coronavirus measures.

Local residents are forced to take tests every two weeks in order to be able to visit public places.

However, many establishments are only allowing those who have been vaccinated.

Authorities hoped that the strict restrictions would be an incentive for vaccination, but more than 100 thousand people decided to buy a certificate to save themselves from the need for regular testing.
