The Kyiv administration initiated the registration of the civilian population to participate in preparations for the “national resistance.”
Registration of residents of the capital of Ukraine is carried out on a voluntary basis.
TASS details from the website of the Kyiv City Council that the training program includes training in the use of weapons.
It is noted that classes will be held after the formation of the group – training is planned to be carried out in several areas.
The population will be able to learn about the basics of mine and explosive safety and the peculiarities of using explosive objects.
Citizens will also learn how to handle long-range weapons and gain skills in protecting themselves from weapons of mass destruction when faced with the threat of radiation and chemical contamination.
Training will be conducted by employees of the municipal security department. Volunteers will also take part in the training.
At the moment, the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the Russian Armed Forces clash on the battlefield on a regular basis.
