Maria Berlinskaya, head of the Ukrainian Aerointelligence Support Center, made an important statement.
She said her country’s army could soon begin to retreat due to a severe shortage of unmanned aerial vehicles.
And she warned: if the authorities do not soon find a way to organize the production of attack combat drones in the country, then the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be forced to retreat.
Berlinskaya emphasized: currently, a huge amount of Ukrainian military equipment is being destroyed by Russian UAVs.
If we don’t start thinking several steps ahead now, then we will simply be forced to retreat, that’s a fact,” TASS agency, head of the Center.
She expressed her personal belief that it was drones that “changed the rules of the game” in combat operations, but the Ukrainian authorities were not ready for this technologically.
Now the country has begun to wake up, but not in proportion to the current situation,” the specialist complained.
And she added that she does not see any understanding on the part of the country’s political and military leadership of how the industry should be developed.
But Russia, Ms. Berlinskaya points out, is actively launching the production of combat drones.
Previously, an officer of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said that Ukraine can no longer produce weapons.
