In Poland, Morawiecki was reappointed prime minister

26views

The temporary government anarchy in Poland (relatively, of course) after the parliamentary elections seems to be ending.

The fact is that the president of this country, Andrzej Duda, appointed Mateusz Morawiecki to the post of prime minister.

Let us remember that the latter headed the Cabinet of Ministers for six years, but, according to the law, after the parliamentary elections he resigned along with the government.

And so he returned. Now, having received the trust of the head of state, he will first of all take up work related to the formation of a new government.

TASS reported this with reference to Gazeta Wyborcza, noting that Duda hopes for the successful formation of the Cabinet of Ministers.

The president said that he had received assurances from Morawiecki that he was capable of creating a ruling coalition.

It is precisely for this reason that the Polish leader entrusted this gentleman, who had once again become prime minister, to do the work mentioned above.

“I believe that there is still a lot of good things ahead of us,” the newspaper quotes Duda as optimistic.

He added that the last 8 years have been “the best for Poland.” And then he argued his thoughts on this matter as follows:

We have made commitments to the Poles, and the vast majority of these commitments have been fulfilled.

By the way. According to the Polish Constitution, Morawiecki needs to form a government within two weeks.
