In South Africa, a bus crashed into an abyss: 45 people were killed

A terrible tragedy occurred in the northern part of the Republic of South Africa.

There, a passenger bus fell into the abyss from a 50-meter height; out of 46 people, only one 8-year-old girl survived.

About the fall of a bus from a bridge, the TASS agency cited the SABC radio station.

It is known that the surviving young passenger was taken to the hospital; doctors assess her condition as serious.

The remaining 45 people died – no one else survived the fall of the bus from the bridge, which flew 50 meters to the ground.

It is also reported that the vehicle caught fire as a result of the impact.

According to media reports, the bus was carrying pilgrims heading from Botswana to Easter services in the South African city of Moria.

The accident happened in a mountainous area – in the province of Limpopo.

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa expressed his condolences to Botswana and the families of those killed in the accident.

Earlier it became known that 6 people died on the bridge in Baltimore. Foreigners have gone missing.
