In Turkey, a bus carrying people crashed into a ravine: more than 20 people were injured

Another traffic accident involving a passenger bus occurred in Turkey.

This time the incident occurred in the Doganlar area, which is located in the resort province of Izmir, popular with many tourists.

As MIA “Russia Today” with reference to the NTV channel, the bus was traveling from Bodrum, no less popular among tourists (also the Aegean Sea) to the province of Van.

On the way, the vehicle overturned into a ravine – this happened, as already noted, in the Doganlar area.

More than 20 people were injured as a result of the accident. Ambulance crews, rescuers, police, gendarmerie and fire brigades worked at the scene.

Later, updated information appeared on the number of injured citizens – 22 victims were reported.

Of these, according to Turkish media, three were seriously injured.

According to preliminary information, all people injured in the accident are local residents.
