The death toll from forest fires in Turkey has risen to eight, with 864 people among the injured.
Most of the victims have already been discharged from hospitals, but several hundred people are still receiving medical care.
Fires affected the popular Turkish resorts of Marmaris and Bodrum. The fire came close to urban buildings.
The day before, tourists were evacuated from five-star hotels due to fires. Yachts were used for this.
It has not yet been possible to bring several fires under control in the resort provinces of Antalya and Mugla.
It is known that the cause of the forest fires was arson.
Tourists are advised to stay in hotels and follow government recommendations.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus recommended that Belarusian tourists refuse to travel to Turkey.
