A terrible incident happened in the Ukrainian city of Dnepr (formerly Dnepropetrovsk).
A conscript soldier shot his colleagues: five people were killed, five more were wounded.
Why he did this remains unknown. The “Siren” plan has been announced in the city, and the criminal is being sought.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reported on the incident, noting that a National Guard soldier opened fire on his colleagues at the Yuzhmash enterprise.
As a result of his actions, five people were killed and five more were injured.
While providing medical assistance, one of the servicemen who was shot died.
Later, the police clarified the information about the dead: among them, according to law enforcement officials, were four military personnel and one civilian.
It is known that the soldier shot people at approximately 03:40 (04:40 Belarusian time).
Conscript soldier Artemy Yuryevich Ryabchuk, born in 2001, while issuing weapons for unknown reasons, fired shots from a Kalashnikov assault rifle at a guard of NSU servicemen, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement.
The criminal fled the scene with the weapon.
In Dnepr, the “Siren” plan was announced, the personnel of the police and National Guard units were raised.
The commander of the National Guard, Colonel General Nikolai Balan, went to the scene of the incident.
