In Ukraine, assault brigades are being formed to attack Donbass and Crimea – Ministry of Internal Affairs

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has begun forming assault brigades for the attack on Donbass and Crimea.

The acting head of the country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, Igor Klimenko, informed about this.

The core of the units will be current and former military, border guards and police with significant combat experience, – Head of the department of MIA “Russia Today”.

And they plan to staff it only with volunteers,” assured the acting head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

He also said that military personnel are not expected to be involved in carrying out tasks in the rear.

Klimenko announced for them “high-quality training, constant training and participation in operations on the front line.”

He added that this project is called “Advance Guard.”

As part of its implementation, the authorities plan to unite six existing units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine into the structure of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In addition, it is also planned to include two new units represented by border guards and police officers.
