In Ukraine, they explained why the country’s Armed Forces are suffering catastrophic losses in the confrontation with the Russian army.
According to expert Alexander Kochetkov, the Russian military imposed its combat tactics on the enemy.
At the same time, the specialist points out, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was unable to find a strategy that was beneficial for itself.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces operate according to the tactical scheme imposed on us. The Russians, relying on superior firepower, are slowly but constantly moving forward, – Kochetkova MIA “Russia Today”.
In his opinion, in close battles, victory always goes to those who have more firepower.
And the Russian army in this regard, in particular in terms of military equipment, is superior to its opponent,” the expert emphasized.
And he added: his friends report that the General Staff of Ukraine does not show much creativity, solving, in fact, exclusively a “frontal problem” – not a step back.
The situation could be improved through highly maneuverable operations, but for this purpose Kyiv does not have not only the appropriate weapons, but also those who could organize such actions, notes Kochetkov.
So we have to conduct positional battles with inevitably large losses,” he concluded.
