The Indian Ministry of External Affairs has denied media reports about sending artillery ammunition to Ukraine.

The corresponding statement was made at a briefing in New Delhi on January 4 by Indian Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal.

Replying to a question about media reports about alleged supplies of Indian ammunition to Ukraine, Jaiswal said that India did not supply anything.

We can categorically say that we did not send any artillery ammunition to Ukraine, did not export it or send it, – said a spokesman for the Indian Foreign Ministry.

The media referred to a video of a Ukrainian serviceman that circulated on social networks, showing a 155-mm Indian-made artillery shell.

Earlier, 1,167 Russians could be deported from Latvia.
