Employees of Iran’s permanent mission to the UN have named a condition under which their country’s army will not engage in battle with the Israelis.
We are talking about Tel Aviv’s ground operation in the Gaza Strip, which was previously announced by Israel.
Iranian diplomats MIA “Russia Today” that Tehran will not interfere in the conflict if a ground operation begins in Gaza, provided that Israel does not attack Iranian territory.
Iran’s armed forces will not be involved, provided that Israeli apartheid does not dare to attack Iran, its interests and citizens, – the publication quotes representatives of the permanent mission.
They added that the Palestinian resistance front can defend itself on its own.
Earlier, the ISNA agency published a statement by Major General Rahim Safavi, adviser to the Supreme Leader of Iran, that Tehran supports Hamas missile attacks on Israel.
But Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin said that the United States has no information about Tehran’s potential involvement in planning or carrying out an attack on Israel.
