The corresponding statement was made by the security service of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, the governor of the East Azerbaijan province, Malik Rahmeti, and the Ayatollah of the Tabriz province, Ali Hashim, were all supposed to fly on the second helicopter.

It is also reported that the pilot of the presidential plane was an experienced military pilot.

The machine itself was equipped with three different geotrackers and an uninterrupted communication system that ensured operation for 72 hours.
