With less than 20 minutes left until the end of the latest ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, an extension of the truce was announced.

The extension of the truce between the warring parties was confirmed by Hamas.
They clarified that the new agreement implies one more day without hostilities.
It was decided to extend the truce on the seventh day, that is, Thursday, representatives of the Palestinian radical movement informed.
And the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar (the country acts as a mediator on the ceasefire, the release of hostages and the supply of humanitarian aid to Gaza) noted that the truce extended by a day will operate on the terms of previous relevant agreements.
It is explained: the parties agreed to extend the truce by 1 day on the same terms: ceasefire and delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
This agreement, like the previous ones, was reached through the mediation of Qatar, Egypt and the United States,” said Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman Majid bin Mohammed al-Ansari.
According to him, Doha will continue to take steps to achieve a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
