57views

Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has been declared persona non grata in Israel.

Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz announced this on February 19 on the social network X.

Why Israel declared Lula da Silva persona non grata

Yesterday, the President of Brazil called what was happening in the Gaza Strip genocide and compared Israel’s actions to Adolf Hitler’s crimes against the Jews.

According to the head of the Israeli Foreign Ministry, today the Brazilian Ambassador was informed that Lula da Silva has been declared persona non granta.

He is persona non grata in Israel until he apologizes and retracts his words, – said the head of the Israeli Foreign Ministry.

The minister added that the comparison made by the Brazilian leader was a serious anti-Semitic attack and a desecration of the memory of the victims of the Holocaust.

Previously, Finland would not host US nuclear weapons.
