Israel resumes fighting in Gaza Strip

Recently it became known about the decision taken by the Israeli authorities to resume full-scale hostilities in the Gaza Strip.

As the Galei IDF radio station reported, citing a source in political circles in Tel Aviv, negotiations on the release of the hostages are not ongoing.

We are returning to full-scale hostilities, there are no negotiations for the release of hostages, – this person told the TASS agency.

Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces accused Hamas of violating the truce.

In particular, IDF representatives stated that a rocket was launched from Gaza, which was intercepted by the Israeli military.

In connection with the incident, the army of the Jewish state announced the resumption of hostilities in the enclave.

Before this, the media wrote that both sides of the confrontation agreed to extend the truce for another day.

Also in the press there was information about the release of another – the seventh – group of Palestinian prisoners of 30 people from Israeli prisons.

And the Houthis in Yemen have announced their readiness to resume military operations against Israel if the truce in the enclave ends.
