The head of the Israeli Ministry of Defense, Yoav Gallant, made an important statement regarding the escalation of the conflict.
According to him, Hamas has lost control over the Gaza Strip, and the group’s militants are fleeing to the south of the enclave.

Earlier, on November 13, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported significant damage to Hamas units in the northern part of the enclave.
They also noted that, in the opinion of the Israeli military, the group has virtually ceased to exist in northern Gaza as a combat-ready organization.
In this regard, Mr. Gallant says that Hamas no longer has the means and capabilities to stop the Israeli army.
According to him, the IDF is “advancing on all points” – according to the developed plans, carrying out the assigned tasks “with precision and lethality.”
The head of the Ministry of Defense added that in recent days the Israeli military has significantly increased the intensity of hostilities against Hamas tunnels near Gaza.
