7views

Israel attacked international airports in the Syrian cities of Damascus and Aleppo.

Syrian news agencies report this.

What happened

As the SANA news agency reports, citing a source in the Syrian security forces, at approximately 13:50, Israel simultaneously launched strikes on the runways of Damascus and Aleppo airports.

According to the source, Israel carried out these strikes to divert attention from its crimes in the Gaza Strip.

And from the great losses it suffers at the hands of the Palestinian resistance – added the agency’s interlocutor.

According to preliminary information, the airports are out of action.

The IDF has not yet commented on the information about the attacks on Syrian airports.

According to Israeli television’s Channel 13, an Iranian cargo plane carrying weapons en route to Syria turned away after the strikes.

Exacerbation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict

As reported, last Saturday the military wing of the Palestinian movement Hamas announced the launch of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood against Israel.

After an unprecedented rocket attack from the Gaza Strip, Hamas fighters entered the border areas in southern Israel.

The IDF responded by launching Operation Iron Swords in the Gaza Strip.

According to the latest information, more than 1,300 people were killed in Israel, and 1,203 people in the Gaza Strip.

Hamas is holding about 150 Israeli citizens and foreigners hostage.
