It became known about preparations for the evacuation of the civilian population from the blockaded Ukrainian cities of Mariupol and Volnovakha.

In order to make it possible for the civilian population to leave, Russia announced the beginning of a regime of silence, starting on March 5 at 10:00 am Moscow time.

MIA “” reports the opening of humanitarian corridors with reference to the Ministry of Defense.

Today, March 5, from ten o’clock in the morning Moscow time, the Russian side declares a regime of silence and opens humanitarian corridors for civilians to leave Mariupol and Volnovakha, the agency reports.

It was especially noted that the exit routes and the humanitarian corridors themselves were agreed upon with Ukrainian representatives.

The DPR also reports its readiness to observe the ceasefire, but at the same time it is noted that the residents of the blockaded cities themselves do not know about the prepared evacuation routes.

At the moment, this information is being communicated to the population.

It is also reported, with reference to the statement of Mikhail Podolyak, that official Kyiv has information about the intentions of 20 thousand civilians to leave Volnovakha.

According to the Ukrainian authorities, about 200 thousand civilians are ready to leave Mariupol.

According to the administration of Mariupol, the route Mariupol – Nikolskoye – Rozovka – Pologi – Orekhov – Zaporozhye has been prepared for evacuation from the city.

The evacuation is planned to be carried out by buses and personal transport.

Deviation from the specified route is strictly prohibited.

The silence mode will be in effect until 17:00 Moscow time.

Let us recall that during a special operation these Ukrainian cities were blocked by militias, but are still under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
