Now the leaders of the Ministry of Finance and the State Department will deal with the problem.
We are talking about Washington’s decisions and actions within the framework of the law on supporting Kyiv, including the topic of confiscation of frozen Russian assets.
The TASS agency reported this with reference to a statement from the White House press service.
It notes: Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and Secretary of State Antony Blinken have been transferred the powers “assigned to the president” by certain paragraphs of the mentioned law.
They are directly related to the issue of confiscation of frozen Russian assets in favor of Ukraine.
Let us recall that at the end of April, Biden signed a number of bills providing for the possibility of confiscation of Russian assets and the provision of further military assistance by the United States to Kyiv, as well as Israel and Taiwan.
