It recently became known when Poland might sign a security agreement with Ukraine.

The event is likely to happen next week, when Vladimir Zelensky arrives in the neighboring country on an official visit.

This information is available to MIA Rossiya Segodnya, citing data from a source familiar with the situation.

The President of Ukraine will arrive in Warsaw next week, and if nothing happens, then during this visit a bilateral security agreement will be signed, – he said.

He also said that it is extremely important for Kyiv and Warsaw to sign the document before the start of the NATO summit, which Washington will host from July 9 to 11.

The publication’s interlocutor suggested that by signing the agreement, Warsaw intends to make it clear to the participants of the NATO summit about the need to strengthen support for Kyiv.

Previously, Poland and the Baltic states conceived a “defense line” on the border with the Russian Federation and Belarus.
