The National Coalition Party candidate won the election in the second round.

According to the department, according to the results of counting 100% of the ballots, Stubb received 51.6% of the votes.

His rival, former Foreign Minister and Member of Parliament Pekka Haavisto, ended the campaign with 48.4% of the vote.

As for attendance at polling stations, the Ministry of Justice notes that the turnout was 67.6%.

The department draws attention to the fact that it will approve the final results of the presidential race that finished in Suomi on Wednesday, February 14.

And the next day, the election results will be officially announced at a plenary meeting of the country’s government.
