Italian workers who have not been vaccinated against coronavirus will not be allowed to return to their workplaces.

Starting this Friday, only those Italians who present a vaccination certificate will be allowed to work. The procedure is being postponed by 8 million people in the country.

In response to the unpopular decision, Trieste port workers issued a call for a boycott that would jeopardize the flow of cargo traffic.

Due to the upcoming protests by service sector workers, disruptions are predicted in a variety of sectors of the economy.

As octagon.media reports, not only workers refuse to get vaccinated, but also doctors, police officers and drivers.

It is known that the union of port workers is threatening to block the port after the Green Pass decision becomes mandatory.

According to representatives of the movement, 40% of workers do not have this document.

In response to the authorities’ actions, Italian workers are threatening to block not only ports and cargo transportation, but also traffic on key highways.

The protest is planned for October 15. The workers demand the abolition of the “dictatorship” and the termination of the “slave certificate”, which refers to the Green Pass.
