Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio reacted to the harsh statement of Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev.
Let us remember that he wrote in his Telegram channel that he hates some Western politicians who “want the death of Russia.”
Medvedev called them “bastards and degenerates,” noting that while he is alive, he will do everything to “make them disappear.”
This message worried the head of the Italian Foreign Ministry.
Moreover, Di Maio called the statements of a high-ranking Russian “very serious and dangerous.”
These are unacceptable words that greatly worry us also because they come from the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, a diplomat from the TASS agency.
According to the head of the Foreign Ministry, Medvedev’s statement does not at all indicate a desire to establish dialogue and resolve issues regarding a ceasefire with an attempt to restore peace.
He regarded his words as “threats against those who persistently strive for peace.”
Let us add that Dmitry Medvedev spoke out so sharply when responding in his TG channel to a request to explain precisely the harshness of his statements.
I answer – I hate them. They are bastards and degenerates. They want death for us, Russia. And as long as I’m alive, I will do everything to make them disappear,” wrote the deputy head of the Security Council.
