Former adviser to the head of the Pentagon in the administration of ex-US President Donald Trump, retired Colonel Douglas McGregor, made another statement on Ukraine.
He notified the general public that the West will not be able to correct anything in this matter, since the outcome of the conflict is a foregone conclusion.
Therefore, the West’s continuation of equipping Ukraine with weapons will lead to nothing,” McGregor is convinced.
In his opinion, there is only one way to resolve the situation: to stop the West and Kiev from conflicting with Russia and sit down at the negotiating table.
The military man believes that there is still time to agree on something, since the West is now in no position to dictate its terms.

In this regard, he criticized the authorities of his country for the decision to provide cluster munitions to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
McGregor says that using these projectiles will not cause enough damage, so there is no point in using them.
He accused the United States of making a mistake on the issue of cluster munitions and now “looking like shameless hypocrites.”
I think this ammo does more harm than good. I don’t think that they will somehow help the Ukrainians,” the ex-adviser shared his vision of the topic.
And he added: the current actions of Ukraine and the West are due to the despair that has gripped them against the backdrop of ongoing self-destruction.
