Jury convicts Biden Jr. on gun charges

188views

The day before, the world’s media reported that when considering the case of Hunter Biden, the judge dismissed the jury an hour after the start of the hearing, due to the fact that they could not reach a verdict.

However, the panel coped with the task and found Biden Jr. guilty of illegal weapons possession.

The jury found Hunter Biden guilty of all three federal charges against him for illegal possession of firearms, CNN reported.

Prosecutor Leo Wise, speaking during the debate between the parties, said that enough evidence had been presented to admit the guilt of the son of the American president.

At the same time, the prosecutor called them “personal, unpleasant and stunning,” since the defendant knew that he was using drugs when purchasing weapons.

During the case, jurors were shown footage of Hunter Biden holding what appeared to be a smoking pipe, as well as a “white substance on a scale.”

An FBI agent investigating the case testified that after purchasing the gun, the defendant sent a message stating that he smoked crack cocaine.

According to local law, drug use does not give the right to purchase weapons.

Now Joe Biden’s son faces up to 25 years in prison and a fine of $750,000.

There is a pending case against Hunter Biden for tax evasion in the state of California.

Earlier it became known that in July Kyiv will receive from Russian assets.
