The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan summoned the Ambassador of Ukraine Pyotr Vrublevsky.

When the diplomat arrived, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this country expressed a protest to him in connection with the recent statement by the head of the diplomatic mission about the Russians.

The incident occurred on August 21 – on this Sunday, Vrublevsky spoke as part of an interview with local blogger Dias Kuzairov.

During the dialogue, the ambassador stated that the Ukrainian authorities are trying to kill as many Russians as possible – MIA Rossiya Segodnya.

Kazakhstan considers such a statement unacceptable and incompatible with the activities of the ambassador of another country.

Such actions should not damage friendly relations between states, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry was informed.

It is reported that the video of Vrublevsky’s interview caused a real scandal in Kazakhstan.

His words were strongly condemned by the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, while the Association of Russian, Slavic and Cossack organizations called for the ambassador to be declared persona non grata.

By the way, Russia also reacted to the statements of the Ukrainian diplomat.

In particular, the head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed to evaluate Vrublevsky’s statement from a legal point of view.
