Chairman of the State Council of the DPRK Kim Jong-un said that the country will occupy South Korea if necessary.

This was reported by the North Korean state news agency KCNA.

What Kim Jong-un said about the occupation of South Korea

The DPRK leader recalled that the Workers’ Party of Korea and the government recently summed up the history of the split and confrontation of the Korean people.

According to Kim Jong-un, identifying South Korea as the main enemy and deciding to occupy it in case of emergency as national policy is a reasonable measure.

He stressed that if the enemy uses force, the DPRK army will not hesitate to use its full power.

Last December, Kim Jong-un said that the Workers’ Party of Korea no longer considered the peaceful unification of the Korean Peninsula possible.

He also stated that the DPRK and South Korea have finally become hostile countries.

In January, the leader of the DPRK proposed constitutionally securing the status of the main enemy for the Republic of Korea, allowing its occupation in the event of war, and abandoning the definition of “compatriots” in relation to residents of South Korea.

Previously, Prince William would take over some of Charles III’s responsibilities.
