Official Kyiv reports: proposed negotiations with Washington on security guarantees for Ukraine may start next week.
In particular, this statement was made by the head of the Ukrainian leader’s office, Andriy Ermak.
Ukraine will begin negotiations with the United States on a bilateral agreement on the provision of security guarantees next week, – TASS agency official.
According to Ermak, these guarantees will be valid until Kyiv joins NATO.
He considers such a condition “the most reliable guarantee of safety.”
The head of Zelensky’s office also said that such security guarantees for his country represent “specific and long-term obligations.”
He explained: this means support for Ukraine in terms of financing and defense, as well as sanctions.
