Kyiv continues work on a “dirty” nuclear bomb – Naryshkin

The State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine has decided to reprocess a batch of irradiated fuel from the Rivne NPP.

Such information was recently received by the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, as reported by its director Sergei Naryshkin.

According to him, there is information that Kyiv continues to work on the creation of a “dirty” nuclear bomb filled with explosives and radioactive substances.

If such a projectile explodes, a vast area will be exposed to radioactive contamination,” the words of the head of the SVR MIA Rossiya Segodnya.

According to this information, two special containers were delivered to the spent nuclear fuel storage site in Chernobyl.

But Kyiv did not notify the IAEA, since, according to Naryshkin, the fuel from the Rivne NPP was sent for reprocessing.

He warns: the use of a “dirty” nuclear bomb will have dire consequences for the inhabitants and ecosystems of the entire Eastern Europe, including the EU and Black Sea countries.
