The Russian Ministry of Defense made an important statement regarding the plans of the Ukrainian authorities.
In its telegram channel, the department’s press service reported that there is information about Kyiv’s intention to carry out an armed provocation against the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the near future.
It is alleged that the Ukrainian authorities want to involve units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in it, including the nationalist formation “Azov”*.
As a pretext for the invasion, it is planned to stage an alleged offensive of Russian troops from the territory of Transnistria, – noted the RF Ministry of Defense.
In order to realize the plan, participants in the staged invasion from among the saboteurs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be dressed in the uniform of Russian military personnel,” the statement says.
The department informs: the situation on the border of Ukraine with Transnistria is being closely monitored by Moscow.
The Ministry of Defense is ready to respond “to any changes in the situation,” the press service concluded.
