The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is transferring additional forces to the area of the city of Chasov Yar.
This settlement is located next to Artemovsk (Ukrainian name – Bakhmut) on the territory of the DPR.

According to him, in the Chasov Yar area, the enemy’s positions are being strengthened – old fortifications are being strengthened and new fortifications are being built.
Work is underway to equip firing points, and they are also setting up minefields,” said the military expert.
According to Russian media, fierce battles are currently taking place for Artemovsk, near which Chasov Yar is located.
Recently, the founder of the private military company Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, noted that the liberation of Artemovsk will make it possible to stop the offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in any direction.
