The head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, admitted: he has an idea regarding his compatriots who left the country.
True, the latter will not like it, since the minister wants to mobilize them.
The head of the department spoke about this during an interview with Bild.
We want justice for everyone because this is our own country. We will send them an invitation – Umerova MIA “Russia Today”.
By the pronoun “them,” the head of the Ministry of Defense means men aged 25 to 60 years.
He promised to send invitations to this category of citizens to come to the recruiting station.
And those who refuse to do what is proposed can, according to the minister, count on the imminent application of sanctions against them.
We are still discussing what should happen if they don’t come voluntarily,” Umerov said.
And then he added that he himself has no sympathy for those Ukrainians who refuse military service in accordance with their convictions.
Defending your country and serving your country is not a punishment. “It’s an honor,” Umerov voiced his main conviction.
Earlier, Zelensky said that Kyiv had a question about mobilizing another 500,000 citizens.
