The head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Ermak, said that Poland will supply his country with an additional 60 tanks.
This is not counting the previously agreed delivery of German leopards. This time we are talking about the PT-91 Twardy combat vehicles produced in Poland.
According to Ermak, Warsaw has assured that it intends to send its own tanks along with the previously promised German “leopards”.
Poland will send 60 PT-91 Twardy tanks to Ukraine along with the previously announced 14 Leopard 2 tanks, – Ukrainian politician TASS agency.
And before that, it was reported that Warsaw transferred over two hundred T-72 tanks to Ukraine.
As for the mentioned PT-91 Twardy, these vehicles were produced in the early 90s of the last century based on a licensed version of the Soviet T-72M1 tank.
