On the morning of May 10, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the entry of LPR and Russian troops to the administrative border of the republic.

In the area of Krivoy Rog, Kulinovka and Lisichansk, 4 drones were destroyed.
In total, since the beginning of the special operation, the following have been destroyed: 164 aircraft, 125 helicopters, 798 UAVs, 302 air defense systems, 2,983 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 351 MLRS installations, 1,440 field artillery guns and mortars and 2,796 units of special military vehicles.
Also, a representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense spoke about the situation with Zmeiny Island. According to Konashenkov, this afternoon in the Zmeinoye area Russian air defense systems shot down another Bayraktar.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, in total, over the past 3 days, Kyiv has lost 30 military UAVs in this area, including 9 Bayraktars.
All UAVs were involved in the failed “PR campaign” of Kyiv to capture Zmeiny Island on the eve of May 9, – Konashenkov said.
He also said that today Russian military personnel found on the shore of Zmeiny 3 more bodies of Ukrainian saboteurs who washed up from the sea. There are now 27 bodies of Ukrainian servicemen remaining on the island.
In total, during the attempt to capture Zmeinoye, Kyiv lost 3 Su-24s, one Su-27, 10 helicopters in the area of the island, of which 3 Mi-8s were shot down in the air with troops on board, and one Mi-24 support helicopter.
Another 6 Mi-8 and Mi-24 helicopters involved in the operation were destroyed on the ground in the Artsiz area.
At sea, 3 armored landing-assault boats “Centaur” with a landing party were destroyed.
