The star of “Titanic”, Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio, appealed to the powers that be with a request to save humanity.
The artist arrived in Scotland and was spotted at the COP26 conference, where issues related to global climate change are currently being discussed.
Regular United Nations meetings on climate change have been held regularly since 1995.
Only last year the event did not take place due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Traditionally, the summit brings together heads of state, as well as other political and public figures.
According to the Daily Mail, the Hollywood actor became the latest US representative to arrive in Scotland for this purpose.
It is reported that in addition to the official part of the event, the actor may have a meeting with his young friend, environmental activist Greta Thunberg, who is calling for a climate protest in Glasgow.
Among other celebrities, the Dukes of Cambridge, Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton, attended the event in Glasgow.
It is known that members of the royal family will also take part in the international conference.
