As Bilotaite said, her department, together with the fire and rescue department, is working on an evacuation plan in the event of a hypothetical war.

The plan provides for two stages: evacuation within the country, then to other countries.

An evacuation plan through the Klaipeda port is being developed. This is the first time such work has been done, – said the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Latvia.

We have 11 large ferries, as well as other vessels, – Latakas noted.
